Interests

I like a whole lotta things. Usually, if something gets too popular, though, I tend to stop liking it. ... er, anyways. Here's a list of some of the stuff I like.

Music

For American music, I usually stick to rock, like Live and Aerosmith (not Easy Listening, that stuff drives me nuts), and occasionally I listen to a few "alternatives" like Primus and They Might Be Giants, but usually, I just stick to the kind of music known as J-pop.

Short for Japanese pop, J-pop has taken the techno-ey dance mixes of the eighties and continued them along their evolutionary path. Usually a bit more upbeat and high-tempo, J-pop is the perfect counter to a stressful day for me. Some people can't stand it, some people can't understand it, but I kinda like it. My favorite J-pop bands are MAX, pictured here, and Two-Mix. Though I must say that L'Arc~en~Ciel, the group that composed the opening for the sleeper classic DNA² kicks mucho ass, especially the song "Honey" which I need to get linked in some day.
