Blue Thunder Productions was formed in early 1997. Our initial mission was to take two otherwise neglected and misunderstood Video Toasters (Amiga 4000's) sitting all by their lonesome in a small abandoned in ECU's Communications Department and turn them into useful, productive members of society.
Our mission was a failure, and the Video Toasters which the ECU staff had repeatedly claimed did not exist were ripped from our loving hands in a rueful stroke of misadministration, never to be turned on again.
But yet, we persevered and refused to give up hope. Later coming across the funds and a large donation from our local ECU SAGA members, we adopted another Amiga 2000 from a former video producer who had other newer models in mind, and in the name of humaneness we raised it to full use as a subtitling station.
Now teamed with the sheer might (OOSHAAAA!!!) of a 200 MHz Compaq, also equally shamed by society, and empowered with the twin powerhouses of JACOsub and Sub Station Alpha, Blue Thunder Productions shines like a bright candle amidst the overwhelming darkness of Pitt County. We may not be strong now, but we're drinking milk, folks!
Due to the fact that we have practically no large-scale equipment, Blue Thunder is not distributing the videos we have subtitled. Er... since I'm still getting mail about this, let me repeat: Blue Thunder is not distributing the videos we have subtitled. That means if you want videos, look somewhere else - we're just doing the script translation and timing. If you are interested in any of the scripts of the current or completed projects, please e-mail AoKaminari@icqmail.com for more information.
